CANADA - It's worth collecting!
A great way to learn about Canada through the stories of the people that helped shape this great country. Each figure is 15cm (6″) tall and includes a storybook that will outline significant events, and the impact each figure had to shape these events. The 20-page book also includes a set of questions at the end that will test your understanding – We call it the Canadian Legends Showdown.
Don’t miss this tremendous opportunity to celebrate Canada’s most interesting and memorable historic figures!
Proudly Canadian... Product Development
Destined to have as much of the product developed and made in Canada, we worked hard to :
- Research – Stories, images and depictions using National Archives of Canada
- Sculpting – once we had a collection of pictures and poses that we wanted to use, we worked with Canadian artists for the development phase of our figures. A special thanks to…
- Robert Blair, Gatineau, Quebec – who sculpted the Sir John A Macdonald Figure and the body of Sir Wilfrid Laurier.
- Claudio Setti, Toronto, Ontario – who sculpted the Sir Isaac Brock Figure, stand and sword and the head of Sir Wilfrid Laurier.
- Book and Graphics – While the product was being sculpted, we worked on the book(s) and all graphics and design with an excellent graphic artist and designer who created all the images and colours from scratch. A special thanks to…
- James Broden (Broden Creative), Montreal, Quebec – who designed the Canadian Legends Logo, all the artwork you see in the amazing storybooks, and the packaging design and layout.
